In commemoration of its 65th anniversary, ASTRA as a company that has a direction in the automotive industry held a competition entitled “Digital Innovation and Technology Competition 2022” or in short DIGITECH 2022. The competition which took place from December 10, 2021 to February 26, 2022 was held by ASTRA in collaboration with SRE. The theme for DIGITECH 2022 itself is “ Transforming Innovation for Sustainability, ” with four branches of competition, namely “ Future of Mobility ” and “ Future of Energy ”, each of which has a high school/vocational/equivalent category and a university.
The Dosbog team is one of the teams competing in DIGITECH 2022. The team consists of Annisa Citra Gitaswari (Undergraduate Engineering Physics 2019), Alfitra Heydar Achsan (Undergraduate of Engineering Physics 2019), and Chaesar Syaefuddin (Vocational D4 Mechanical Engineering 2019) as well as a supervisor, namely Dr. Nur Abdillah Siddiq, ST. The work of the Dosbog Team, namely “SSB: Smart System for Exchanging Electric Vehicle Batteries as a Support for Future Mobility in Tourism Areas to Respond to the Challenge of Reducing Carbon Emissions” won the 1st place award in the ” Future of Mobility ” category for universities. This work is motivated by the condition of Indonesian tourism which currently requires a convenient and easy-to-use mode of transportation, especially by tourists.
SSB itself or Special Swap Battery is an Electric Vehicle Sharing System (EVSS) that facilitates the public with modes of transportation and charging for electric vehicles designed to provide comfort for tourists. SSB is equipped with a battery swap charging technology designed to be able to facilitate the needs of electric vehicle batteries with variations of 24-72V. The battery exchange technology is combined with a sharing system and accessibility system to create a charging station as well as providing electric vehicle facilities for local people and tourists. The power supply from SSB is also designed to use two energy sources, namely PV and electricity from the gridwhich is a contribution effort in creating clean energy technology.
SSB’s work is a work that focuses on solving community problems in the tourism sector. The message from the Dosbog Team for students and the academic community at DTNTF is to try to think out-of-the-box, especially in identifying problems that exist in society. Although DTNTF is a department with concentrations in the fields of energy, nuclear, green building, and instrumentation, the opportunities for problems that DTNTF competencies can answer are far wider than the concentrations of DTNTF mentioned and can even be found in places that are not realized.
