On October 9, 2025, a meeting was conducted to explore potential collaboration between JSS Science and Technology University (India), the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), and the Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) with the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics (DNEEP), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The meeting was held as part of the ASTECHNOVA 2025 event at The Alana Hotel & Convention Center, Yogyakarta.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening international collaboration through various joint initiatives, including co-authoring academic books, organizing webinars, conducting joint lectures, joint supervision of students, and staff exchange programs with fellowship opportunities.
The discussion was attended by Prof. Suriyanarayanan (JSS STU), Dr. Rabindra Dhakal (NAST), and Mr. Syafi Satya Sakti (NAM CSSTC). From UGM, several faculty members of the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics also participated in the meeting, including:
